Innovation within a major Government initiative

Sententia Empty Homes is an innovative in-house programme designed specifically for Local Planning Authorities re-purposing Empty Homes.

A major Government initiative, Sententia's innovative approach to the design of a responsive service model and the provision of a zero-value, risk free contract addition to the statutory processes available to Local Authorities is a welcome and pain-free alternative that has received considerable accolade from professional partners and leading experts on local authority Empty Home programmes.

Currently being prepared for Framework Agreement and national implementation, Sententia are keen to hear from local authorities who are interested in expending their capabilities in this complex area.

Innovation and International research

Initially referred to Sententia by a major London based accountancy firm, Sententia's relationship with the business owner has expanded from an initial requirement for investment into an international research and innovation project with a funding call expected to be around £1.5m over two years.

With access to a number of universities and a client with a number of strands for innovation, we were able to put in place appropriate Non-disclosure agreements and introduce our client to a key team at a leading university.

Further discussions and research identified an international collaboration opportunity with Latin America which is in the process of being developed as an international bio-fuel innovation project.

Sententia are working closely with the university team and funding agencies and acting as lead project managers on behalf of the client.

A long-term Sententia technology and innovation project pulling the four strands of Innovation, Technological Research, Investment and Market Peneteration into a single product development strategy that will see Patent protected Solar PV fast-fit mounting frames introduced to the residential marketplace across the UK  and then internationally.

Technology research undertaken by Lincoln University

A number of off-shoot projects emanating out of this client relationship will see additional innovations brought into the Solar PV marketplace.

Accessorising the e-cigarette market

Referred from a notable midlands accountancy firm, the owners of the business had had “an idea” and having turned the idea into a conceptual story board, they found themselves without the experience to take the project forward.

Immediately Sententia commissioned a specialist product designer to develop full CAD drawings and in turn commission a 3D printed prototype to prove “form and function”.

Since then Sententia have been working closely with the owners guiding and supporting them through all stages of product and organizational development including product design, materials development, manufacturing and procurement, future product pipeline; strategic repositioning of the business into a fashion, health and lifestyle business and domestic and international sales and marketing strategies.

A full detailed business and financial plan were produced on behalf of the owners along with the design, implementation and analysis of an ethnographic street survey to establish likely consumer uptake. UK launch planned for April 2016 and private investment discussions currently underway.

Faisana is one of those inpsired business ideas that come along once in a lifetime, those that are based on stringent research and intuitive market insight and are way ahead of the curve, those that have immense potential and once launched will grow rapidly into a £bn business.

FAISANA is a UK based online ecommerce fashion business selling luxury British and Western fashions and lifestyle brands to India's 300 MILLION middle classes using the latest technology and powerful social media marketing techniques.

We have already proven that the traditonal supply chain is keen to change and that premium and high-end GB suppliers are keen to work with Faisana. The marketing strategy is set, the IT systems are in place, logistics are signed up and fashion consultants are keen to work with us.

We are also interested in hearing from fashionista's who want to make a name for themselves on the fashion scene
